Senior Airman Luis Diaz Garcia, 628th Security Forces Squadron K-9 handler, shows the children the arm pad used for a drug-detection demonstration for Red Ribbon Week Oct. 30, 2012, at Hunley Park Elementary School, North Charleston, S.C. This year's theme is "The Best Me Is Drug Free." This campaign came about after the murder of Federal Drug Enforcement Administration Agent, Enrique Camarena, in 1985, while he was investigating Mexican drug traffickers. Now a national celebration, Red Ribbon Week, allows educators, parents, community groups, students and others to focus on the work being done by the many who have pledged to live drug free.
