Col. Richard McComb, Joint Base Charleston commander, reviews the layout of the new Visitor Center with project officers after a ground-breaking ceremony, April 10, 2013 at Joint Base Charleston – Weapons Station, S.C. The new facility will provide employees with a modern badge, pass and Defense Biometrics Identification System work area. The visitor’s lobby/waiting area will provide comfortable and convenient seating, drinking fountains and restrooms. The dedicated parking lots will be located at the front and beside the new building and will provide convenient parking.
