A civilian from the 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron prepares to chalks an aircraft May 4, 2013, at Joint Base Charleston – Air Base, S.C. The plane returned Airmen from the 15th Airlift Squadron, to JB Charleston after a two-month deployment to Southwest Asia. The squadron flew 1,000 sorties while safely moving 40 million pounds of cargo and 5,000 passengers throughout the area of responsibility.
