The great one made a personal appearance at his football operations corporate headquarters during the weekend to make sure everything was up and running for the new National Football League season.
After addressing my 60-person staff, I had lunch with the crew from ESPN's Sunday Countdown and NFL commissioner Roger Goddell. During lunch, I could no longer keep a lid on all the hilarious predictions I had received from Team Charleston, so I decided to share them. I knew with the start it would be another Swami landslide; however, I had no idea the early submissions would be so clueless. After we all shared a good laugh at them, I decided that perhaps the rules in my first article may have not been clearly stated so I will say this:
Ladies and Gentlemen, the object is to pick the winners, not the losers like the majority of the submissions I have received.
