The Swami, AKA Super Genius, wins Week 4

By The Swami Football guru

Picking with half my brain tied behind my back and much like taking candy from a baby, the great one went 9-4 to breeze to victory in Week 4. The Swami narrowly edged Jeffrey "Bucs Fan" Lucas, Karen "High Heels" Wenner, "Flyin" Brian Sommerfeldt and Brandon "Vikings Fan" Voges who all also went 9-4 but fell a bit shy of the Monday Night Football tie break where my first place beloved Pittsburgh Steelers bested the pesky Ravens.

I was going to comment on the "Cowgirls" getting punked at home by the Redskins; however, the great one thinks their fans already suffered enough so I will refrain.

As promised, here is the first top ten list after four games:
1. Jeffrey Lucas .717
2. Bob Trout .700
3. Swami .683
4. Brian Sommerfeldt .683
5. Troy Jarrell .659
6. Kenneth Shockley .659
7. Oscar Thompson .655
8. Luis Class .650
9. Dex .638
10. Mindy McCormick .633

This week's "cellar dweller dunce cap" award belongs to the entrant known only as "symbol" who stumbled and bumbled to a woeful mark of 5-8. The Swami thinks his symbol this week should be the thumb and index finger shaped like an L placed on the forehead!

Now, without further delay, I will unveil my Week 6 stone-cold, steel-pipe, sell-some-plasma, fearless, guarantee-award-winning predictions. Please be sure to e-mail entries to 437MXS.Swami@charleston.af.mil prior to kickoff of the early games Oct. 12.
