‘Pats Fan’ Ron claims Week 7 crown

By The Swami Football Guru

Ronald "Pats Fan" Desautels was on fire cruising to a 12-win mark en route to his Week 7 victory. His competition was Dan "One Night" Fling who posted a very impressive 11-3 record and was one of the very few who predicted the Rams' brutal spanking of the overrated Cowboys.

My beloved Steelers stayed red hot with a convincing beat down of the "Cincy Kittens," while the Titans remained the lone undefeated team in the league.

This will not make me very popular; however, this week's "stink out loud" award goes to the Captain Kangaroo-coached Dallas Cowboys who were manhandled by the lowly St. Louis "Clams." They say football is a game of inches which accurately describes the way the "Cowgirls" moved the ball on offense. Their offensive line was so good the running backs couldn't even get through it! In a move to strengthen their defense, the Dallas Cowboys hired a new defensive coordinator today, famed lawyer Robert Shapiro.

This week's "dunce cap cellar dweller" award goes to Troy "Aikman" Jarrell who bumbled and stumbled to a 6-8 record. For this, you will automatically be enrolled in the Swami's Football 101 seminar and be forced to watch Detroit Lions highlights the remainder of the week.

Before I reveal my Week 9 stone cold, steel-pipe bet-your-economic-stimulus-check, fearless, world-famous, guaranteed-winning picks, I want to remind you to check back next week for the new top 10 after eight weeks.

Please send your picks to 437MXS.Swami@charleston.af.mil prior to the early game kickoff Nov. 2.
