Bucs Fan captures Week 12, Hitman rules Week 13

By The Swami Football guru

Jeffrey "Bucs Fan" Lucas rode a sweet 13-3 record into the Week 12 winners circle and is very much in contention for the coveted Swami Cup trophy. In Week 13 action, John "Hitman" Hearn knocked out the competition posting a sweet 12-4 mark to claim the weekly title.

After 13 weeks, the woeful Detroit Lions remain the lone winless team, while the Giants look to be the class of the National Football Conference. The Swami's beloved Pittsburgh Steelers invaded New England and opened up a big can of ... you know what!

With only three weeks remaining, the overall Swami Cup is still up for grabs. Here's a look at the top 10 as we head down the home stretch:
1. Jeffrey Lucas .716
2. Bob Trout .699
3. Brian Sommerfeldt .682
4. Dan Fling .675
5. The Swami .670
6. Mindy McCormick .670
7. Kenneth Shockley .667
8. John Hearn .655
9. Anthony Komara .643
10. Dave Linquist .643

The Swami reported in Week 10 that Anthony Komara was the cellar dweller when, in fact, he compiled a near perfect 13-1 record. I have personally fired the accounting firm of Deuce, Bubba and Red Head for this gaffe and apologize to Anthony!
