Fin Fan wins Week 14, Steelers rope Cowboys!

By The Swami Football guru

Brian "Fin Fan" Sommerfeldt posted the lone 13-3 record to capture the Week 14 Swami Cup. Sommerfeldt bested John "Hitman" Hearn and "Nittany" Lew Zuchowski who both had outstanding 12-4 records.

Week 14 saw the woeful Lions remain winless, the defending Super Bowl Giants upset at home by the high-flying Eagles and the Jets losing to the Niners out on the left coast. Now, the highlight of the weekend saw my beloved Pittsburgh Steelers defeat the Dallas Cowboys. At last check, Terrell Owens was at the Pittsburgh airport screaming at the ticket agent, janitors, night shift airport security and stranded foreign travelers prior to boarding his plane. In what was a nail-biter midway through the fourth quarter the Steelers completed a beautiful 67-yard tying touchdown drive then kicked off to the "Boys." What followed was Tony "Oh-No" committing a no-no leading to the Steelers, a-go-go at which time Elvis officially left the building!

I am not going to call out a cellar dweller this week as the worst record shared by four players was a respectable 10-6. We are in the home stretch and the race for the overall lead is the closest it has been in years, so do your research, study hard and test the Swami at crunch time. This will be the last issue this year so allow the swami to wish you and yours a happy holiday season!

Please send the remaining weeks to 437MXS.Swami@charleston.af.mil prior to the Thursday kickoff. Now without further delay I will unveil my Week 16 stone-cold, steel-pipe, hold-back-on-buying-someone-you-really-don't-like-a-gift, fearless, soon-to-be-world-famous, guaranteed, winning predictions:
