A "My New Space" class will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. This mandatory workshop is a prerequisite for individuals moving out of the dorm that addresses tips for financial success.

MANDATORY TAP Preseparation Briefings will be provided for Separatees and Retirees from 8:00 to 12:00 p.m. DID YOU KNOW...per Public Law 107-103, in the case of anticipated retirement, retiring service members can receive pre-separation counseling up to 24 months prior to DOS? And a separating service member can receive pre-separation counseling up to 12 months prior to DOS. This is the first step in the process to making you "career ready" to leave the service; and this briefing/counseling is required prior to attending the TAP GPS Workshop.

A Workshop for VA Disability Claims will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The VA representative will cover the VA claims and filing process and individual claims assistance will be provided from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. NOTE: Members (who do not have a copy of their medical records) must sign an authorization letter at the Joint Base Charleston - Air Base Clinic's Family Practice section. This letter is must be signed NLT the Monday prior to the week's Friday workshop that you plan to attend.
