Newest Senior Master Sergeants selects

This year across the Air Force, 11,904 Master Sergeants were eligible to make the rank of Senior Master Sgt. and only 1,467 were selected for promotion. That's only 12.32%!

According to the Air Force Personnel Center, the average selectee overall score was 20.48. Additionally, the U.S. Air Force Supervisory Examination average score was 78.42 and the average board score was 400.23.
