CHARLESTON AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. –
Staff Sgt. David Peacock is a functional systems administrator with the 1st Combat Camera Squadron and has been stationed at Charleston AFB for more than 4 years.
As a functional systems administrator, he is responsible for the design, installation and configuration of network operating systems for 1 CTCS servers and also provides desktop support for users.
"Being able to help my squadron accomplish the mission is the best part of my job," said Sergeant Peacock. "I feel the camaraderie and the people I work with make this job worthwhile."
Sergeant Peacock contributes to Team Charleston's mission by providing the best network and computer support to the combat journalists.
This "Warrior of the Week" hails from Greensboro, N.C., and enlisted in the Air Force more seven years ago. He joined the Air Force to travel and to get a college education.
"He's a hard working NCO," said Master Sgt. Steven Jenkins, 1 CTCS chief of network operations. "He is the behind-the-scenes professional that helps get the job done for the combat camera mission."
