CHARLESTON AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. –
Airman 1st Class Carissa Nazzaro is a customer service apprentice with the 437th Logistics Readiness Squadron and has been stationed at Charleston AFB for more than eight months.
As a customer service specialist, she runs records maintenance in the customer service center and she loads all stock numbers for the base. She also reviews and processes all issue requests for more than 300 organizations purchases, rents, leases and obtains supplies and services from various contracting services.
She contributes to Team Charleston's mission because she out processes all Airmen leaving the base.
This "Warrior of the Week" hails from Long Island, N.Y., and enlisted in the Air Force more than a year ago. She said she joined the Air Force because she wanted to experience new things and see new places.
"I like my job because I love learning new things and meeting new people," said Airman Nazzaro.
"Airman Nazzaro is very enthusiastic, willing to learn and always takes the initiative to get things done without having to be asked," said Master Sgt. Curtis Perz, NCO in charge of customer service. "She goes out of her way to help customers and always tries to makes sure they get what they need."
