CHARLESTON AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. –
Staff Sgt. Anthony Clark is the assistant NCO in charge of network operations with the 1st Combat Camera Squadron and has been stationed at Charleston AFB for six years.
As a network operator, he provides 24/7 network support with a primary focus on file server availability and desktop support for the 1 CTCS. He also maintains and updates combat camera's intranet website.
He contributes to Team Charleston's mission by providing network support to combat photographers and videographers who tell the Air Force story through visual information.
"I like that I am able to provide direct computer support to others and give them the ability to accomplish the Air Force mission," said Sergeant Clark.
This "Warrior of the Week" hails from Utica, N.Y., and enlisted in the Air Force seven years ago. He joined the Air Force because he wanted the opportunity of having a career and getting an education.
"Sergeant Clark is a supervisor's dream," said Master Sgt. Steve Jenkins, 1 CTCS network control center superintendent. "He is a mature, responsible and mission focused NCO. No problem is too tough for him. He will be a chief master sergeant one day."
