Team Charleston rodeo send-off: There will be a rodeo send-off rally Friday at 1 p.m. in Nose Dock 1 for the rodeo team as they depart for the Air Mobility Command Rodeo competition. For more information, contact Maj. Michael Mitchell at 963-5636.

Company grade officers council meeting: The next CGOC meeting will be July 31 at 1 p.m. in the Charleston Club. For more information, contact Capt. Matthew Sullivan at 963-2935.

Youth physicals: The 437th Medical Group will be conducting youth physicals for military family members ages nine to 19 Wednesday afternoon. Call the appointment line at 963-6880 to book an appointment so your child can be prepared to play sports this upcoming school season. Additional youth physical appointments will be made available as demand dictates.

Government purchase card training: The 437th Contracting Squadron will be hosting a vendor trade fair Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mandatory training is scheduled for all cardholders and approving officials. A large number of vendors will display available products and services. If involved in the GPC program, mark your calendars to attend this fun and informative event.

North Auxiliary Airfield hunting permits: Permits for hunting at NAAF will go on sale beginning Monday in the 437th Civil Engineer Squadron environmental office in building 247. All active duty, Reserve and retired military and their family members, as well as Department of Defense civilians, are eligible to hunt at NAAF. To purchase a permit, hunters must have a valid South Carolina hunting license and "big game" permit. Permit holders are allowed to hunt deer and turkey on Fridays through Mondays during applicable hunt seasons. The cost of the permit is $20. For more information, contact Keith Thompson at 4020.

Smooth move briefings available online: Air Force legal offices are no longer required to provide "Smooth Move" briefings for potential claimants. A new online briefing can be viewed by claimants from any computer. This briefing can be accessed from the Air Force Claims Service Center public webpage at: http://legalassistance.law.af.mil/claims/. Clinic has excess waiting room furniture: The clinic will have excess waiting room furniture during August and September. If you can use two-, three- and four-seat units, planters and tables in your work areas, call Leon Smith for more information at the clinic 6759.

Job services: The Airman and Family Readiness Flight will schedule appointments for Airmen and their family members to meet with a South Carolina job services representative Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The representative will assist in the process of looking for employment. 2007 Senior NCO induction ceremony: The 2007 Senior NCO induction ceremony committee is seeking volunteers who are saber team members, color guard team, musicians (to play dinner music or accompany anthem) and role players for a military historical presentation. Senior NCO induction ceremony needs historical uniforms: The Senior NCO induction ceremony committee needs historical uniforms representing the following military operations: World War I, World War II, Vietnam, Korea, Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Charleston 101 critical days of summer golf tournament: The 437th Airlift Wing Safety Office is hosting a four-person captains choice golf tournament August 28 at 8 a.m. at the Wrenwoods golf course. Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the cost is $28 per person. Prizes will be awarded for closest to pin, longest drive and longest putt. For more information, contact Master Sgt. Become job ready while earning college credit: Spouses of active-duty Air Force and activated Reserve Airmen can enroll in a free computer 101 course offered by Trident Technical College and the A&FRF. Classes will be taught by TTC staff for eight consecutive Saturdays beginning Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Only 15 spaces are available and all applicants must go through a simple screening process at a date determined after registration. Microsoft Office 2007: The latest version of Microsoft Office 2007 is now available to active-duty Air Force and civilian members for a fraction of the cost. Airman's Attic in need of donations: The Airman's Attic is in need of household items, children's clothing to size eight, appliances and furniture. If you have items that have been gently used, consider donating them to the attic.
