Combat camera photography on display: Alterman Studios, in conjunction with the National Veterans Day Celebration, will display the photographic works of three combat camera photographers from the 1st Combat Camera Squadron and will be on display until Dec. 31. Family pre-deployment briefing: There will be a pre-deployment briefing held every Tuesday and every Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the A&FRF for individuals preparing for a deployment within the next 30 days. Protect your credit workshop: The A&FRF will hold a "Protect your Credit" workshop on Monday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. The workshop will teach attendees how to protect their credit and their security clearance on their own without spending a dime and how to separate fact from fiction to avoid scams that offer empty promises. Sponsorship training: The A&FRF will hold a sponsorship training class Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The class will teach the requirements of sponsorship and tips on being an effective and efficient sponsor. For more information or to sign up, call the A&FRF at 963-4406.

Newcomer's tour: The A&FRF will hold a free newcomers tour of Charleston's Historic district, Ft. Moultrie and Isle of Palms Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Transportation will be provided by the A&FRF and will depart from building 500. Airman and Family Readiness Flight, departing Bldg 500. Undergraduate Flying Training: The next Undergraduate Flying Training selection board will convene at the Air Force Personnel Center on Jan. 8. This selection board will review active duty applications for selection to pilot, chief security officer and air battle manager training. Those officers with a date of birth after April 1, 1978, and a total active federal commissioned service date after April 1, 2003, who meet all other eligibility criteria, will be eligible to apply for UFT. Applicants must send the completed application, postmarked by Nov. 26, to HQ AFPC/DPAOT3, 550 C Street West Suite 31, Randolph AFB, TX 78150-4733. Applicants are responsible to advise commanders and supervisors providing Air Force Form 215 comments of the application deadline. Applications with incomplete or missing data may not be processed. All applicants need to complete the Air Force Officer Qualification Test. In addition, pilot applicants must complete the Test of Basic Aviation Skills. Pharmacy closure: The pharmacy is undergoing a major renovation project. The project is estimated to take approximately four months. The pharmacy will continue with full services throughout the project. Patients may experience extended delays during this process. For more information, contact the pharmacy at 963-6569.

Volunteer delivery drivers needed: The Airman's Attic is in need of volunteers to pick up donated items. Volunteers are eligible to participate in an incentive program that provides free or reduced priced items at places like the golf course, bowling alley, club, car wash and more. Anyone who has an hour or two to spare on an as-needed basis, contact the A&FRF at 963-4406.

General education courses available: Park University and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offer general education courses that are needed to satisfy Community College of the Air Force degree requirements. Microsoft Office 2007: The latest version of Microsoft Office 2007 is now available to active-duty Air Force and civilian members for a fraction of the cost. Airman's Attic in need of donations: The Airman's Attic is in need of household items, children's clothing to size eight, appliances and furniture. If you have items that have been gently used, consider donating them to the attic.
