Warrior of the Week: Tech. Sgt. Jeremy Klemme

437th Security Forces Squadron

Tech. Sgt. Jeremy Klemme is a member of the 437th Security Forces Squadron and has been stationed at Charleston AFB for two-and-a-half years.

He is currently deployed to Camp Bucca, Iraq, as a security forces investigator with the 586th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron. As a security forces investigator, his duties include investigating criminal activity and violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. He also serves as the primary evidence custodian.

Sergeant Klemme contributes to Team Charleston's mobility mission by investigating criminal activity on base to ensure the wing's primary mission can continue unimpeded.

"I enjoy serving the community and providing a sense of security to the base populace," said Sergeant Klemme.

This "warrior of the week" hails from Kokomo, Ind., and enlisted in the Air Force 11 years ago to serve his country and see the world. His future career goals include becoming a first sergeant and eventually becoming a chief master sergeant.

He volunteers weekly at Lambs Elementary School and serves as the president of the Security Forces Unit Advisory Council. Sergeant Klemme credits his wife as his biggest supporter and as the person he draws inspiration from.

"She is just as important to the Air Force family as I am and I would not be where I am today without her," said Sergeant Klemme.

"Sergeant Klemme always gives 100 percent to everything he does without asking for anything in return," said Russell Dugan, 437 SFS investigations detective. "He is a great NCO who leads by example."
