POW/MIA recognition day
2nd Lt. Timothy Denhoed, left, leads Airmen in a formation run on their first lap at the POW/MIA 24-hour vigil run at the base Commissary Sept. 24. Airmen from Charleston AFB were joined by service members and cadets representing the other branches of the military throughout the 24-hour period to honor United States military members taken as prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action.
