‘Pats Fan’ edges Swami for week 5 victory

By The Swami

Longtime Swami contestant Ron "Pats Fan" Desautels narrowly bested the incredible Swami by two points in the Monday Night Football tie breaker to claim week five.

Our 10-4 mark was also matched by the likes of Louis "Little Generals" Class, Chris "Randy" White, Bob 'Rainbow" Trout, Wendell "Sam" Donaldson and Kenneth "Shockmeister" Shockley.

The race for the Swami Cup is close so be sure to see the current top 10 in my next award winning feature article.

This week's 'stink out loud" award goes to the "Buffalo Chills" who were defeated by the "Cleveland Clowns" in a 6-3 offensive explosion despite their quarterback only completing two passes. Close behind were the "Deadskins" who gave up 17 unanswered points to the "Carolina Prancers" snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Do you realize this was the fourth winless team in a row Washington has played? My "cellar dweller dunce cap award" recipient this week belongs to an entrant who goes by the mysterious name of "PTH" who claimed to be large and in charge, but floundered around like a beached whale comprising a fat 2-12 record.

Now to the part you all are waiting for - another installment of my fearless, stone-cold, steel-pipe lock, cash in your savings bonds guaranteed winning predictions.
