'Pats Fan' cruises to week nine victory

By The Swami Football Guru

Ron "Pats Fan" Desautels rode a sizzling 11-2 record to the top claiming the title in week nine action. Both Ron and his New England Patriots seem to be on a roll as we reach the halfway mark of the season.

Talk about being on a roll, did you see my beloved Steelers open up a mile-high can of you know what on the Broncos?

I must give some love to the Cowboys who are playing some very good football despite their coach Wade "Capt. Kangaroo" Phillips, who was seen searching for the prize in a Cracker Jack box during the winning touchdown drive. He was also seen marching on the field alongside the band. A majorette threw her baton in the air and then dropped it. A fan yelled, "Hey, I see you coach the band, too."

This week's "stink out loud" award goes to the Green Bay "Slackers" who were beaten like a three egg omelet, allowing the Tampa Bay "Shucks" their first win. It seems like the visit by Farve and his Norsemen is still affecting the "Slackpack."

This week's "cellar dweller dunce cap" award belongs to Gerald "Woooo, just having fun" Amidon who could only come up with seven wins.

The Swami cannot be too hard though, as he did pick the Steelers. Now without further delay, I unwrap my stone-cold, steel-pipe, fearless, scrape up your change from under the couch cushion, guaranteed winning predictions. Please send your picks to 437mxs.swami@charleston.af.mil.
