Charleston Air Force Base, S.C. –
John "Hitman" Hearn earned bragging rights by narrowly edging Beth "Rainbow" Trout on the final week of the regular season.
Beth was in control the entire season but stumbled slightly, opening the door for the Hitman who reeled off an impressive 13-3 mark propelling him into the lead.
I sat down with the Hitman for an exclusive interview and here's what the champ had to say:
How does it feel to be the Swami Cup champion?
What a pleasure it is to have finally won the coveted Swami Cup. After years of playing and enjoying the competition, I can now say I am the champion. It feels great to be the Swami Cup Champion. Thanks to the other contestants for the competitive year. I know it was down to the wire, and that makes the challenge and win more enjoyable.
What is your winning formula for picking the games?
Wouldn't you like to know my winning formula? My formula for victory is to pick my beloved Cowboy's, and the rest falls into place. You should try it ... that's right ... pick those Cowboy's.
Give us your Super Bowl prediction?
Wow, a prediction for Super Bowl 44 ... Dallas over San Diego ... 20-17 (reverse score from Dec 13) ... Go Cowboys!
The Swami sees the Vikings falling to the Chargers in the big game.
Here is a look at the top five finishers:
John Hearn .724
Beth Trout .713
Jeff Poindexter .705
Brian Sommertfeldt .692
The Swami .683
I would like to thank the thousands of loyal fans and look forward to next season, where I will reign terror on all who dare to challenge the incredible Swami.
