315 AW commander leads the way, receives H1N1 vaccine

Like the wing commander, reservists across the wing are being administered H1N1 vaccinations to prevent against the spread of the harmful virus.

Airmen from the 315th Aerospace Medicine Squadron performed several hundred vaccinations for Reserve Airmen during the first of two UTA weekends in February.

Airmen Sorneson is an Air Reserve Technician with the 315 AMDS who performs duties as an aerospace medical technician.

She said the 315 AMDS expects to administer an additional round of immunizations for unvaccinated reservists during the next UTA weekend.

The vaccination is currently mandatory for all reservists assigned to the 315th Airlift Wing.
