VITA office needs volunteers

With tax season quickly approaching, the Joint Base Charleston Legal Office is looking for committed volunteers to assist preparing individuals' tax returns at the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance office, Jan. 24 through Apr. 15. All tax preparations will take place at the Tax Center, Bldg. 246.

In order to prepare as many returns as possible, six to eight volunteers are needed each week. Each volunteer will need to commit two to four weeks of time to work at the tax center. If you are interested, contact Lawrence Williams at Active Duty volunteers check with your supervisors prior to volunteering.
