The VITA tax center, in building 206 on JB Charleston-WS, is open Tuesday through Friday 7a.m. to 7p.m. and on Saturdays from 9a.m. to 3p.m. The VITA tax center is for Active duty, Reserve, and dependants that need assistance filling their federal and state taxes and are assisted on a walk-in basis, no appointments required.
