Joint Base Charleston rescinds Mission-Critical status

By Joint Base Charleston Public Affairs Joint Base Charleston Public Affairs

Joint Base Charleston has adjusted manning from Mission Critical to standard base operations as of 8 September 2020 at 0600L.  Additionally, the process to allow base access for visitors will return to the normal procedures that were established before COVID-19 measures were implemented.

Members of Joint Base Charleston and their families are asked to continue to practice COVID-19 preventative measures already in place, including maintaining proper hygiene, social distancing, and wearing a mask. Members are encouraged to contact their healthcare provider if they develop any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, such as fever, coughing, and shortness of breath.
