It is tradition for the eldest airman and the youngest airman to cut the cake.

Red 7 assisted in saving powers life by flying him from Baghdad to the United States while he was in life threatening condition. Their orders had changed a few hours before picking up Powers, they had been preparing to transport two anti-tank missile carriers from Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, to another airfield within central command.
