315 AW recruiters help spread holiday cheer at commissary
December 21, 2023 — The 315th Airlift Wing’s Recruiting Flight teamed up with the commissary at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina to give gift cards to local military members and veterans. The recruiters began volunteering in October as baggers at the base commissary and donated their tips to purchase the gift cards for commissary patrons who could use a little extra during the holidays... Single-Parent Reservist rises above challenges to earn wings

U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Ruben Barnett, U.S. Naval Consolidated Brig Charleston correctional specialist, and his son, Ruben received gifts from BAE Systems at his new home Dec. 21, 2016. Barnett and his son lost all of their belongings in a house fire the day before Thanksgiving. BAE Systems and Operation Homefront host a campaign called the Joy of Giving where they sponsor a family in need during the holiday season.
