JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - Maj. Gen. John Gordy, U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center commander, wishes 628th Security Forces defenders good luck on their future endeavors as potential Phoenix Ravens during a base tour Jan. 18, 2019, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The Phoenix Raven program consists of specially trained security forces members responsible for providing security to Air Mobility Command aircraft transiting high threat areas. The USAF EC is the Air Force’s Center of Excellence for advanced mobility and combat support training and education. The Expeditionary Operations School at the Expeditionary Center offers 92 in-residence courses and 19 web-based training courses, to include the Air Force Phoenix Raven Training.
