JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - Fallon Emery, a new honorary member of the 437th Operations Support Squadron, tries on an explosive ordnance disposal bomb suit Nov. 7, 2018, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., as part of the Airman for a Day program. During her visit, 14-year-old Emery also controlled an EOD robot, toured a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft and flight simulator, learned about night vision and other military technology and met with 437th Airlift Wing senior leaders. The Airman for a Day program recognizes the resilience of children battling various illnesses by enabling them to observe Air Force units and experience their culture for a day.
