JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - A C-17 Globemaster III, from Joint Base Charleston, S.C. flies over the South Carolina State House as part of a large formation exercise, in Columbia, S.C., May 22. 2018. Approximately 15 C-17s took off from Joint Base Charleston, S.C. to conduct an integrated large formation exercise supporting the 509th Infantry Regiment's personnel and heavy equipment airdrops over Fort Polk, La.
