JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - An alligator sunbathes on the bank of a water hazard at the Wrenwoods Golf Course on Joint Base Charleston March 20, 2018. Sam the alligator lives safely within his environment because he is not fed by the golfers and staff. Wild animals become aggressive after being fed by humans. Feeding wild animals could put other’s lives at risk because the animal will then begin to aggressively approach people looking for food.
