JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - U.S. Navy Commander Carl Brobst, left, assumes command of the Naval Consolidated Brig Charleston with a salute from his predecessor, Cmdr. Brett Pugsley, right, while Lt. Cmdr Christopher Adams, U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps, observes during a change of command ceremony Dec. 8, 2017, onboard the USS Yorktown, Mount Pleasant, S.C. Brobst was previously the Brig’s executive officer. Pugsley, who commanded the Brig since 2016, retired after 20 years of service.
