JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - Tech. Sgt. Brenden McCavey, left, 315th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal craftsman, assists Senior Airman Matthew Koser, right, 315th CES EOD apprentice, with putting on a bomb suit at the Joint Base Charleston Naval Weapons Station EOD range, S.C., Nov. 2, 2017. A bomb suit, EOD suit or a blast suit is a heavy suit of body armor designed to withstand the pressure generated by a bomb and any fragments a bomb may produce. The bomb suit was used during a routine training exercise, constisting of a potential bomb threat scenario.
