JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - Michael Schumacher, 628th Security Forces Squadron patrolman, age 55, views the base security monitors in the maintenance operations center at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., Sept. 26. Schumacher has been in federal law enforcement for 17 years. He joined the 628th SFS two years ago and continues to meet the fitness standard.
