Airmen learned to read a map, use a compass and plot coordinates on the map using a protractor to execute land navigation during war skills training at McCrady Army National Guard Training Center, Eastover, South Carolina March 6, 2017. Airmen were required  to use land navigation to reach their destinations throughout the remainder of the training. Thirty members from Joint Base Charleston attended the weeklong war skills training that taught land navigation, combat casualty care, improvised explosive device identification procedures, hand-to-hand combat skills and team building exercises.
