Melvin D. Willis, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center – Atlantic Enterprise Information Systems Business manager, gives a speech during the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. remembrance event Jan. 17, 2017 at the Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina chapel. Willis was the guest speaker for the ceremony honoring King’s legacy. The ceremony included a march across the baseas well as a celebratory program. Willis was a former command chief master sergeant for the 437 Airlift Wing.
