The USS Arleigh Burke (DDG-51) arrives in Charleston, South Carolina, Nov. 10, 2016. The destroyer was named for U.S. Navy Adm. Arleigh A. Burke who served in World War II, the Korean War and as the Chief of Naval Operations. The USS Arleigh Burke is the lead ship of that class of Aegis-equipped guided missile destroyers.

CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA - The USS Arleigh Burke (DDG-51) arrives in Charleston, South Carolina, Nov. 10, 2016. The destroyer was named for U.S. Navy Adm. Arleigh A. Burke who served in World War II, the Korean War and as the Chief of Naval Operations. The USS Arleigh Burke is the lead ship of that class of Aegis-equipped guided missile destroyers.
