JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. - U.S. Air Force Lt. Col (Ret) Tom Hanton shares his story of his time as a prisoner of war at the Joint Base Charleston Club September 16, 2016, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. Every year, members from the base participate in a 24-hour vigil run, a luncheon to honor prisoners of war and those that are missing in action, as well as a formal retreat ceremony.
