Scovill Currin July 15, 2015, during the 437th Operations Group change of command at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Currin assumed command of the 437th OG from Col. Fred Boehm during the ceremony. Currin has spent the last three years at Duke University in Durham, N.C., earning his doctorate in history. Boehm, who has commanded the 437th OG since July 2013 is headed to Saudi Arabia where he will be the chief of the Joint Advisory Division for Saudi Arabia.
