Mark Bronson, 628th Air Base Wing command chief, preps a hose to drain wastewater from a hydrant system on the flightline, June 18, 2014, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. Each month, Col. Jeffrey DeVore, Joint Base Charleston commander, and his staff, visit a different 628th ABW agency and receive hands-on tutorials on specific jobs. Working with the 628th LRS, Devore, Bronson and Master Chief Petty Officer Joseph Gardner, Naval Support Activity command master chief, learned how to drain wastewater on the flight line, refuel a Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, and test samples of aircraft fuel.
