Capt. Adam Bergoo, 14th Airlift Squadron current operations officer (second from right), asks Gen. Darren McDew, Air Mobility Command commander, a question July 11, 2014, during a breakfast for 20 Joint Base Charleston company grade officers. McDew used this forum to field questions and seek input from JB Charleston’s junior servicemembers while sharing leadership lessons from his 32 years on active duty. The AMC commander interacted with service members, families, Department of Defense civilian employees, contractors and local civic leaders in a variety of venues at JB Charleston during his three-day visit.
