Staff Sgt. Joan Luyando performs sit-ups during his bi-annual physical fitness test at the base running track June 29, 2010 on Joint Base Charleston, S.C. With the new standards, the run counts for 60 percent of the test, while body composition counts for 20 percent, followed by push-ups and sit-ups at 10 percent each. Under the old standards the run counted for 50 percent, the body composition counted for 30 percent, with the push-ups and sit-ups remaining the same.
