JOINT BASE CHARELSTON, S.C. (October 24, 2010) Hidden from Red Bank Road from which most people travel in the Charleston area, lies hidden treasures that capture the beauty of nature and gives peaceful tranquility from today?s technological world or provides a place for many to clear their minds. Marrington Plantation, located within the depths of Joint Base Charleston-Weapons Station, has more than 1,600 acres of pristine woodlands that now serves as one of the premier military recreational facilities in the world for people of all ages to enjoy outdoor recreational activities. Many people enjoy spending time with their pets, running, biking, hiking, fishing or just enjoying the natural beauties of nature on the 13 miles of provided trails that have been available for the Charleston area patrons for hundreds of years.
