Amy Layne runs across the finsih line as the first female with a time of 27:78 during the third annual Run the Runway 5K event honoring Brig. Gen.  Thomas Mikolajcik Nov. 11 at Joint Base Charleston - Air Base.  The 5k course took place on JB Charleston's runway.  The event was held to raise awareness of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
