JB Charleston JAG hosts multiservice DOJ conference

By Airman 1st Class Thomas T. Charlton Joint Base Charleston Public Affairs

John Moran, Assistant Director of Training for the Department of Justice, takes notes during the multiservice DOJ conference here, Sept. 9, 2016. The training was held so judge advocates could help defend active duty, guardsmen, reservists and veterans alike under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act and the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployments Rights Act. These laws help protect them from negative treatment from their employers due to their service.
