Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Representatives needed: The base legal office is currently looking for personnel to serve as Volunteer Income Tax Assistance representatives for Charleston AFB. VITA representatives provide basic income tax preparation services to active duty members, dependents and retirees. Volunteers will receive Internal Revenue Service income tax training Jan. 8 to Jan. 12. to prepare them for VITA duties. For more information on volunteering contact Capt. Scott or Tech. Sgt. Airmen and Family Readiness Flight Closure: The Airman and Family Readiness Flight will be closed on Friday and Monday in observance of the holidays. The AFRF will reopen normal business hours on Tuesday.

Common Access Cards appointments: Active duty personnel in uniform can schedule appointments to get new identification CAC cards or to update/change the PIN on their CAC cards between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. daily. DAYTONA TICKETS AVAILABLE: The Outdoor Recreation Center is now taking orders for discount tickets for Daytona Race Weekend Feb.17 to Feb. 18. Tickets packages range from $118 to $180 for seating along the "Superstretch" including both the Daytona 300 and the Daytona 500 races. Pit passes also are available.
