CHARLESTON AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. –
Senior Airman Jeffrey Allen is an aerospace propulsion journeyman with the 437th Maintenance Squadron, and has been stationed at Charleston AFB for more than two years. He contributes to the Team Charleston mission by issuing, inspecting, maintaining and accounting for parts, tools, publications and support equipment necessary to fulfill the mission.
As an aerospace propulsion journeyman, Airman Allen ensures aircraft maintainers have the right parts, right tools, updated publications and the necessary equipment in order to fulfill mission requirements.
This "Warrior of the Week" hails from St. Mary's, Ga., and enlisted in the Air Force more than three years ago.
"I joined the Air Force to serve my country, to care for my family and to shape myself into the best person possible," said Airman Allen. "The best part of my job is knowing what I do in my work center has a direct, positive impact on the mission and that we directly contribute to the safety of Airmen and the aircraft."
