CHARLESTON AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. –
Airman 1st Class Angelo McGee is a material manager with the 437th Logistics Readiness Squadron and has been stationed at Charleston AFB for almost two years.
As a material manager, he issues aircraft parts to maintainers to fix C-17s. He also stores and maintains vehicle parts and tires.
He contributes to Team Charleston's mission by being a team player and working together with others to accomplish the mission effectively.
Airman McGee enlisted in the Air Force more than two years ago for the opportunity to serve his country.
"I like my job because it is critical to the mission's success," said Airman McGee. "The morale is also kept high in the workplace and we all show consideration for one another like a family."
His future goals are to obtain a master's degree and advance in rank to be able to mentor Airmen of the future.
"Airman McGee takes his job very seriously and is highly dedicated and knowledgeable," said Staff Sgt. Christopher Johnson, 437 LRS storage supervisor. "I'm proud to serve with him and I know he'll go far in life and in his career."
