By Joint Base Charleston Public Affairs

Personnel from the 628th Civil Engineer and 628th Security Forces squadrons will perform vehicle barrier maintenance and testing at Joint Base Charleston - Air Base Dec. 17 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

As a result, the Dorchester Road gate will be closed. The commissary gate will be open for all non-commercial traffic during this time. The Hunley Park housing area gate will be open for single-lane use only in both directions. Please use caution when entering and exiting the housing area and obey security forces' directions and signage. The Rivers Ave. gate and Vehicle Inspection Station will not be affected.

Gate 3 at the intersection of Remount Rd. and Virginia Ave will be open during this period.
