JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. –
Joint Base Charleston held its annual Community College of the Air Force graduation ceremony May 31 at the Air Base Theater and 154 graduates were honored. Chief Master Sgt. Debra Mosely, 628th Air Base Wing superintendent was the guest speaker.
"The purpose of education in any society is to maintain the cultural heritage and improve both society and the individual," said Darrell Nesbitt, 628th Force Support Squadron, Education and Training chief. In the Air Force, education serves to promote the interrelated goals of self-development, citizenship and career advancement.
"After more than 20 years, CCAF is still fulfilling the mission of enhancing AF readiness by improving the technological, managerial and leadership skills of the enlisted force," Nesbitt said.
