JOINT BASE CHARLESTON, S.C. –
As part of February’s Heart Health Month, National Wear Red Day was observed on Feb 2. and Naval Health Clinic Charleston held its own campaign event to raise awareness of heart disease. NHCC staff members wore red attire or red ribbons, snacked on heart-healthy treats and listened to a presentation from a Navy physician describing symptoms of, and ways to mitigate, heart disease, the number one killer of men and women in the United States.
